City of Alpharetta Redacts "No Fire Arms" rule from Webb Bridge Park sign

Ed Stone wrote One person fights city hall and wins about my involvement in the Alpharetta park sign change.

There was no fight. This is what happened:
  1. I saw that Alpharetta said that no firearms were allowed in the city parks even though Georgia law says that cities cannot make such a rule.
  2. So I e-mailed Mike Perry, the Recreation and Parks Director with the City of Alpharetta, about it.
  3. The city modified the signs by covering over the no firearms rule with tape.
It is always good when government officials are accessible and quickly address concerns!
