My Dad Built His Own Company Website

My dad, Sam Rietta, has been building up his manufacturing representative and value added reseller company, RMM Systems.

They provide

"a simple cost effective approach for establishing a Predictive Maintenance Program by providing modern state of the art devices that enables the user to monitor, protect and analysis critical motors vital to the operation of their equipment or process."

Anyway, he built the entire website in a Windows-based tool called CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer.  I helped him start a free Wufoo account to add some forms.  Overall, I am very proud of my dad and his accomplishment of his first website!

See http://www.rmmsys.com for more about the services he provides.

Building Secure Web Applications (Info Graphic)

VeraCode just released this great info graphic on what it takes to build a secure web application.

However, you can simplify this process to two steps:

  1. Use Ruby on Rails
  2. Hire Rietta

I personally earned an M.S. in Information Security from Georgia Tech and started Rietta Inc. to build secure web applications for clients. This is our passion. It's what we do. We even will audit the work done by your current / previous Rails development team.

Rails 3 Application Security Audit Service from Rietta

Atlanta Ruby Developer, a service of my company Rietta Inc, just launched a new fixed price Expert Web Application Security Review service.  With this new offering, one of our team members will carefully go through your Ruby on Rails code to look for the most common vulnerabilities.

I will be personally performing a lot of these reviews.  My masters degree is Information Security from Georgia Tech and I have been working hands on with developing web apps that required additional security in both Ruby on Rails and PHP.

More information about the service is at:
